Over the last twenty years oral implant dentistry has evolved into a successful and scientifically based treatment. Dental implants
(usually made of pure titanium) can be painlessly inserted in the jaw bone under local anesthesia. After a healing period (called osseointegration) the implant takes over the function of natural roots for the attachment of crowns, bridges or dentures, depending on the initial condition of the teeth and the remaining natural teeth. After referral by your family dentist, comprehensive consultation, diagnosis and implantation can be performed in our practice.
The procedure is always carried out in close collaboration with your family dentist, because unless otherwise agreed, after implant placement and healing other prosthetic restoration is carried out by your family dentist. Only this close collaboration can ensure the long-term success of your implant treatment.
